Open Mic Web Design was founded by web designer and developer, Mike Cotton. Don't let the title fool you, that's just his day job.

He is currently the keyboard player for the band, Carousol, actively participating in the local entertainment scene. Before starting in the band, he was performing with a nearby Comedy Improv troupe, enjoying the pleasure of making an audience laugh.

Mike understands the hardships and trials of the entertainment industry and has always strived to make it easier. He began developing online tools for his band to help streamline the everyday management of being in a band. recording gig information, managing a fan base, selling products, introducing new songs/acts are just a few of the things that he set out to improve on.
